ZAGG’s thinnest keyboard accessory to date, the ZAGGkeys PRO and PROplus utilize a magnetic closure to secure the iPad. This feature protects the iPad’s screen from drops and scuffs during transport in briefcases or backpacks and from objects that could potentially scratch or crack the device. Both keyboard accessories have been designed to include special function keys that complement iPad features, including home, search, slideshow, cut/copy/paste, media and lock functions.

The ZAGGkeys PROfolio+ also offers a complete mobile experience for the iPad. The durable PROfolio+ exterior provides a stylish case that protects both the device and the keyboard from dings and scratches. A clever magnetic closure secures the iPad to the ZAGGkeys PROfolio+, which features the same innovative keyboard technology, including the special function keys and carefully engineered spacing.

In addition, the ZAGGkeys PROplus and ZAGGkeys PROfolio+ feature optional backlighting for full keyboard use without the need for another light. Three levels of backlighting are available in seven colors, including blue, dark blue, green, purple, red, yellow and white.

The ZAGGkeys PRO retails for $99, and the ZAGGkeys PROplus is available for $129. The ZAGGkeys PROfolio+ is $129.99. In addition to online availability, the ZAGGkeys PRO and the PROfolio+ can also be purchased at Best Buy locations nationwide.

“Most important to ZAGG Inc. is designing products that improve a consumer’s mobile experience, and that’s what we’ve done with our super slim ZAGGkeys PRO and PROfolio+ models,” said Derek Smith, executive vice president of ZAGG Inc., which manufactures and markets ZAGG and iFrogz products. “In fact, some of the added benefits of these new keyboard lines are a direct result of consumer feedback, such as the new backlit keys to reduce the need for an extra light when typing on a plane. Our keyboard accessories are one of our fastest-growing segments, and we are excited to introduce these new ZAGG products in Best Buy locations nationwide.”

The ZAGG brand represents a complete line of innovative keyboard, film, power and audio accessories for tablets and smartphones that protect, personalize and enhance the mobile experience. More information about its product portfolio can be found at ZAGG.com.

Complete Internet of Things (IoT) embedded device security is not just about the device but involves the entire product’s identity, data and control integrity, and services traversing the cloud. A device can no longer be looked at as an island; it is a part of a system. In fact, given the cross-domain interactions enabled by IoT it could be a part of many systems. Also, depending on where the device is deployed, for example, in the office building versus a factory floor or oil field, security ha...

Unsecured IoT devices were used to launch crippling DDOS attacks in October 2016, targeting services such as Twitter, Spotify, and GitHub. Subsequent testimony to Congress about potential attacks on office buildings, schools, and hospitals raised the possibility for the IoT to harm and even kill people. What should be done? Does the government need to intervene? This panel at @ThingExpo New York brings together leading IoT and security experts to discuss this very serious topic.
More and more brands have jumped on the IoT bandwagon. We have an excess of wearables – activity trackers, smartwatches, smart glasses and sneakers, and more that track seemingly endless datapoints. However, most consumers have no idea what “IoT” means. Creating more wearables that track data shouldn't be the aim of brands; delivering meaningful, tangible relevance to their users should be. We're in a period in which the IoT pendulum is still swinging. Initially, it swung toward "smart for smar...

The many IoT deployments around the world are busy integrating smart devices and sensors into their enterprise IT infrastructures. Yet all of this technology – and there are an amazing number of choices – is of no use without the software to gather, communicate, and analyze the new data flows. Without software, there is no IT.
