Raiffeisen Schweiz führt Cronto-Lösung für sicheres Online-Banking ein

Raiffeisen, eine führende Schweizer Bank, bietet als erste Schweizer Bank ihren Kunden beim Internetbanking den hochmodernen Schutz der Visual Transaction Signing-Lösung von Cronto. Ab heute steht CrontoSign den Kunden der Bank zur Verfügung und schützt sie bei ihren Online-Transaktionen gegen die allerneuesten Angriffe durch Trojaner, die speziell auf das Online-Banking abzielen.

Pascal Dürr, Leiter Elektronische Kanäle bei Raiffeisen Schweiz, erläutert: „Wir haben nach einer Lösung Ausschau gehalten, die beides bietet: die Sicherheit der Transaktionssignierung und die Benutzerfreundlichkeit, die den Erwartungen unserer 840.000 E-Banking-Kunden entspricht. Wir haben uns für CrontoSign als Lösung für unsere Kunden entschieden, da CrontoSign ein hohes Maß an Sicherheit bietet und dennoch einfach in der Anwendung ist."

Für Raiffeisen-Kunden läuft die CrontoSign-Lösung unter dem Namen “PhotoTAN”. Die Bank empfiehlt ihren Kunden, die Lösung für die sichere Anmeldung zum Online-Banking und die Autorisierung von Zahlungen zu verwenden. Während des Anmeldevorgangs wird das CrontoSign-Bild auf der Webseite angezeigt und die PhotoTAN App erkennt dies automatisch mithilfe der Kamera des Smartphones. Im Anschluss wird ähnlich wie bei den derzeit eingesetzten Sicherheitskarten dem Kunden ein einzigartiges Passwort angezeigt, mit dem der Anmeldevorgang abgeschlossen wird. Die Vorteile der PhotoTAN-App werden ganz besonders deutlich, wenn der Kunde sie zur Autorisierung seiner Zahlungsanweisungen einsetzt: Neben dem Bestätigungscode entschlüsselt die App die Zahlungsangaben, beispielsweise Betrag und Empfänger, und zeigt diese an. Alle diese Informationen werden von der Bank unter Verwendung des CrontoSign-Bildes, das für jeden Kunden und jede Transaktion einmalig ist, sicher auf das Mobiltelefon des Kunden übertragen.
