Stardust : les résultats de la première enquête en ligne menée sur la qualité des applications mobiles (1 200 répondants)

Etat des lieux du niveau de satisfaction des utilisateurs vis-à-vis des applications téléchargées

Stardust, acteur leader dans le testing d'applications mobiles et de sites internet mobile, annonce la mise en ligne des résultats de la première enquête sur la Qualité des applications mobiles. L'étude a été menée en 2 vagues (3ième trimestre 2011 et 2012) auprès de plus de 1 200 individus. Elle s'est adressée aux possesseurs de Smartphones, plutôt consommateurs d'applications, avec des échantillons représentatifs de chaque système d'exploitation (Apple iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone 7, Bada, ...).

Selon Forrester Research, le chiffre d'affaires du marché des applications mobiles devrait atteindre les 38 milliards de dollars d'ici quatre ans. Afin de sécuriser leurs business et leur image de marque, les entreprises doivent porter une attention particulière à la Qualité de ces dispositifs.

L'enjeu de cette enquête a donc été de mesurer le niveau de satisfaction des consommateurs par rapport aux applications qu'ils téléchargent, d'identifier les différences de perception selon les plateformes et d'estimer les incidences d'une mauvaise expérience mobile sur leur adhésion à une marque et à ses produits.

Voici une synthèse des principaux résultats et enseignements tirés de cette étude

  • 92% des personnes interrogées ont déjà été confrontées à des fermetures intempestives d'application,
  • 52% sont insatisfaits par la pertinence des mises à jour et des notifications,
  • 75% estiment que lorsqu'une application ne fonctionne pas, la faute en incombe à l'éditeur,
  • 73% suppriment une application suite à la première ouverture en cas d'instabilité technique de cette dernière,
  • Amazon, Voyages SNCF, Ebay et Vente Privee sont les applications m commerce les plus plébiscitées,
  • Les utilisateurs Android sont plus indulgents que les utilisateurs iOS vis à vis des problèmes graphiques,
  • Les utilisateurs iOS sont plus indulgents que les utilisateurs Android vis à vis des problèmes techniques,
