Elluminate Fully Functional Single-Room Starter Products Now Even More Affordable

Elluminate, Inc., the leading provider of web, audio, and video solutions for real-time online learning and collaboration, today announced the general availability of new seat configurations and even more cost-effective pricing for Elluminate vSpaces™, the company’s fully functional, single-room starter product suite. Designed for individual or departmental implementations, Elluminate vSpaces can be easily upgraded to an enterprise-wide implementation with the Elluminate Learning Suite™ as adoption increases.

Originally launched in June 2008, Elluminate vSpaces pricing now starts as low as $17 per month for a 10-seat license, with 500 seats available for under $500. Products include:

  • Elluminate vClass™, a shared virtual room for 200-300, with a customizable moderator name for conducting online auditorium-style classes, lectures, seminars, and other events. Elluminate vClass also includes one license each of Elluminate Plan! for organizing and packaging content and activities ahead of time and Elluminate Publish! for creating standalone files or industry-standard video files from Elluminate Live! recordings.
  • Elluminate vOffice™, a personal virtual room with a fixed moderator name for 10 to 100 participants for holding unlimited, on-demand meetings and classes.
  • Elluminate vRoom™, a free, 3-seat virtual room available exclusively on LearnCentral™, the new social learning network for education sponsored by Elluminate. All members of LearnCentral automatically receive a free Elluminate vRoom, which does not include recording or integrated teleconferencing, for meetings with up to two other participants or locations.

Elluminate vSpaces are available 24/7, and features include integrated voice over the Internet and teleconferencing, multipoint video, shared whiteboard, application and desktop sharing, web tour, breakout rooms, public and private chat, language translations, polling and quizzing, closed captioning and other accessibility options, synchronized notes, participant profiles, multimedia content delivery, and interactive recording. LMS/CMS integration is available via Quick-links.

“It’s really important in these economic times that we find a solution that helps us do training and meetings in a more efficient way,” said Sue Evans, executive director, Northwest Kansas Regional Prevention Center. “Elluminate vClass makes it easy to connect and collaborate. It has really become a very important tool for our work.”

“A single-room Elluminate vOffice is perfect for our needs in the Dakar office,” said Sidiki Traore, manager, Dakar Regional Office, African Virtual University. “We use it for some of our certificate programs for English and journalism, enabling us to connect teachers located in the United States and Canada with students in Somalia and Burundi.”

“Elluminate has something for everyone. Users can start with Elluminate vSpaces for individual educator, administrator, or departmental web conferencing solutions,” said Maurice Heiblum, President, Elluminate, Inc. “Then as need increases, academic institutions or organizations can easily upgrade to multiple Elluminate Live! virtual classrooms for a larger department or an entire school, or to the Elluminate Learning Suite to expand deployment across campus or throughout the enterprise.”
