MoZeus Worldwide Opens Celebrity App Division to Benefit Charities

Fans Can "Take Photos" with Hollywood Actors, Professional Athletes, Musicians and Others to Raise Money for Causes

ATLANTA, Oct. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- MoZeus Worldwide, a mobile-marketing and content management software company and developers of the SMART Activator application, is pleased to announce the launch of the "Celebrity App," a consumer photo mobile application that leverages the power of celebrity to raise money for charity.

The consumer application allows fans to "capture" a photo on their mobile devices with digitally-inserted Hollywood actors, professional athletes, musicians and other pop culture celebrities. The application will be available on Android, Apple/iOS, and Windows platforms. After "taking" photos with a celebrity of choice, fans can leverage the "Celebrity App," powered by the MoZeus Worldwide SMART Photo Overlay platform, to quickly and easily share these photos via social media outlets, such as Facebook and Twitter.

The downloadable mobile application will be available at MoZeus Worldwide's website, the iTunes Store, Android Marketplace and the Windows App Store at a price estimated between 99 cents and $4.99. Proceeds from the sale of each application will benefit the celebrity's favorite charity.

"Today's MTV generation is seeking new and exciting ways to interact with celebrities," says Charles Jones, Co-founder and Chief Operation Officer for MoZeus Worldwide. "Imagine being a huge fan of musicians like Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift – or of athletes such as Peyton Manning, LeBron James, or Derek Jeter – and having an opportunity to 'take' your photo with them. Or inserting a photo of yourself into the cast of 'Jersey Shore' or 'Modern Family,' while raising money for charities such as United Way or American Red Cross. Our hope is that this becomes a massive fundraiser for non-profits."

To date, MoZeus Worldwide has worked with more than 200 brands, agencies, and sports properties to leverage the SMART Activator for more than 100,000 event days, resulting in five million unique leads and 30 million survey questions answered. Notable clients and properties that utilize MoZeus Worldwide include Ford, Verizon, Coca-Cola, Comcast, AT&T, Beam Global, Kraft, Starbucks, Nissan and Harley Davidson, among many others.

Digital Transformation is much more than a buzzword. The radical shift to digital mechanisms for almost every process is evident across all industries and verticals. This is often especially true in financial services, where the legacy environment is many times unable to keep up with the rapidly shifting demands of the consumer. IoT is rapidly becoming mainstream as more and more investments are made into the platforms and technology. As this movement continues to expand and gain momentum it creates a massive wall of noise that can be difficult to sift through. There are so many connected products already in place today with many hundreds more on the h...
The standardization of container runtimes and images has sparked the creation of an almost overwhelming number of new open source projects that build on and otherwise work with these specifications. Of course, there's Kubernetes, which orchestrates and manages collections of containers. It was one of the first and best-known examples of projects that make containers truly useful for production use. However, more recently, the container ecosystem has truly exploded.
